Morelli

Morelli Pasta: artisanal Italian pasta from Tuscany

Morelli Pasta is an Italian pasta brand from Tuscany with a history dating back to 1860. The brand is known for artisanal pasta with wheat germ: the heart of the wheat grain, which is often removed from industrial pasta but is added back to the semolina at Morelli. This gives the pasta a richer flavor, a recognizable aroma, and a beautiful texture that holds sauce well.

At Flavor Shop, you will find Morelli for those who enjoy cooking with quality Italian products and want to turn a simple pasta dish into something special.

The story behind Morelli

Antico Pastificio Morelli was founded in 1860 and is a family business that has been making pasta in Tuscany for five generations. In 1920, Grandmother Morelli built the family factory in San Romano, near Pisa, where tradition still plays an important role.

Today, Pastificio Morelli is continued by the Morelli family, with respect for the craft, ingredients, and Italian pasta culture. The pasta is made for people who taste the difference between ordinary pasta and pasta with character.

Why choose Morelli Pasta?

Morelli is ideal for those who view pasta not as a side dish, but as the foundation of a delicious meal. Thanks to the addition of wheat germ, Morelli Pasta has a rich, slightly nutty flavor and an aroma reminiscent of fresh bread during cooking.

Texture is also important. Morelli Pasta has a rougher surface, which allows sauce to stick to the pasta better. That makes a big difference in simple recipes with olive oil, tomato, pesto, cheese, seafood, truffle, or vegetables.
