This wine develops an aromatic complexity of black fruits such as blackberries, blueberries, cassis and blackcurrants on the one hand and licorice on the other. This complex is underlined by a subtle roasted note.

After 5 or 7 years of aging, the wine develops aromas of sous-bois, bitter chocolate and leather. In the mouth it is round and juicy, with again concentrated fruit. Soft tannins and fine acids provide structure.

Plaimont was founded in 1979 as a union of cooperatives to further join forces and work together with their cellars and vineyards. “Pl” stands for Plaisance, “ai” for Aignan and “mont” for Saint-Mont; three municipalities where they are active.

3 generations of wine growers decorate the bottles - Mixed in boxes of 6 bottles.

Food pairing: finely chopped dried (local) ham , red meat, duck breast or even a beef tartare with truffle (oil).
