The Ardmore Distillery, located in Aberdeenshire, is renowned for its elegantly peated whiskies. Surrounded by fields of barley and peat, the distillery produces a distinctive spirit that perfectly reflects its natural surroundings. This special 2011 release was fully matured in small 110-liter bourbon casks sourced from Koval Distillery in Chicago. A rare and thoughtful choice that maximizes the impact of cask aging.

After 12 years, this whisky has achieved a beautiful balance between smoky depth and a fresh, citrusy vibrancy. The result is a youthful yet mature dram bursting with character. A beautiful example of the "Art of Maturation" for which Murray McDavid is renowned.
