Taste

At 38%, chilli is the main ingredient, so this mix has a kick. Garlic (19%) and parsley bring the familiar aroma and a touch of green. Salt is already in there, so no need to season the pasta further.

How I use it

• Aglio e olio: gently warm a good glug of olive oil, stir in a spoonful of mix and toss with al dente spaghetti.
• In tomato sauce: a teaspoon gives a simple passata instant character.
• On pizza: sprinkle a pinch over the pizza just before it goes in the oven.
• As an oil: let some mix steep in olive oil and drizzle it over bread or vegetables.

The mix already contains salt, so taste before adding more. Close the jar well after use.
