Sodalitasbier is a blond special beer of 6.5% alcohol, created from the friendship and love of beer of the Dominorum Liedekerckensium Sodalitas – the association of drinking buddies from Liedekerke. Since January 2006, this beer has been brewed according to an original recipe at Brouwerij Den Herberg in Buizingen.

What makes this beer special is its powerful bitterness (EBU ± 60), which is rare on the Belgian beer market. Yet the beer manages to surprise with a soft, complex taste structure. Four carefully selected malts form the basis, while Aalst Hallertau hops and a touch of American Amarillo provide a floral, spicy and slightly citrusy touch.

A beer for the true lover of characterful flavours, with a nod to classic craftsmanship and contemporary finesse.
