Discover the delicious Le Couchon Rosso Puglia, an exclusive red wine from picturesque Puglia, with vineyards of an average of 25 years old. This special wine is made from three Italian grapes: Primitivo (33.3%), Negroamaro (33.3%) and Nero di Troia (33.3%).

The Primitivo grape, harvested at the end August, provides a deep and powerful wine with flavors of black plum and cherry. It gives a tasteful, full and elegant experience. The Negroamaro, harvested in mid-September, creates a powerful red wine with a mix of herbs and a fine, slightly bitter aftertaste with notes of chocolate. To balance the wine, the Nero Di Troia grape, harvested in October, is also added, which benefits from a late ripening due to the fruity tannins.

Each grape is processed separately, without crushing for optimal color . Simple techniques are used during fermentation for a lively and soft wine. After fermentation, the three wines are blended into an inspiring wine.

Half of this wine matures for more than 12 months in oak barrels, the rest in stainless steel tanks. After blending, the wine is bottled and kept closed for at least another month for the best quality.

Le Couchon Rosso Puglia has a deep burgundy color with hints of blueberry, blackberry, red currants and cinnamon. The oak maturation gives the wine a spicy touch. It is full and tasty with a good balance between ripe fruit and wood. The aftertaste is long and soft with a pleasantly acidic undertone.
