The creation of Sex on the Beach is credited to Ted Pizio, a young bartender from Confetti's in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. In 1987, this cocktail was his entry into a cocktail competition.
The name for the cocktail comes from the fact that thousands of students visited Fort Lauderdale during the holiday season for two reasons: the beach and sex. Ted Pizio combined this into 'Sex on the Beach'.
Because thousands of students in Fort Lauderdale were introduced to the new cocktail, Sex on the Beach quickly became a popular cocktail throughout America. The International Bartenders School has now recognized this cocktail as a modern classic.
How to serve? Pour Coppa Sex on the Beach into a tall glass over crushed ice and garnish with a slice of orange.

Je tiens à remercier toute l'équipe de Flavor Shop pour la rapidité d'exécution afin d'envoyer la commande au plus vite. En effet, celle-ci a été réceptionnée par Bpost en moins de 24 heures. Délais de livraison à partir du paiement électronique jusqu'à réception à la maison : 55 heures. Bouteille très bien protégée dans le carton et scotchée avec une mention "Fragile". Une autre bouteille achetée il y a plusieurs mois confirme mon opinion sur ce cocktail prêt à l'emploi et drôlement bon ! Merci
