Ginetical Wooded Gin

Ginetical The Wooded Edition is a wood-aged gin. The Royal Edition was used as a basis. The alcohol percentage was increased to 43% Vol and a few minor changes were made to the composition of the botanicals. Gale (Myrica gale) also plays a very important role in The Wooded Edition. This aromatically scented shrub occurs naturally in "Bosland (Lommel and Hechtel region “Limburg, Belgium).

The color is deep amber. In the nose you discover a soft caramel touch, supported by a spicy spiciness of pepper and pine. A touch of honey finishes it off nicely. Mouth filling, tingling, playful, spicy but very soft and round with a warming alcohol. The aftertaste lingers for a long time and makes you long for the next sip.

Drink this complex gin neat, at room temperature. Also be surprised by making a cocktail with a neutral dry tonic. Do not use too much ice, this will bring out the aroma much better.
