These delicious vegan and artisanal crackers with pink peppercorn, cumin, and extra virgin olive oil are made entirely naturally, without additives, preservatives, or palm oil. Pure craftsmanship, with respect for taste and tradition.
For these crackers, Lady Joseph selects only the finest, plant-ripened red peppercorns. These are coarsely ground just before baking to preserve their full aroma. (Red pepper is actually a fully ripened green peppercorn – riper, hotter, and more intense in flavor.)
The cumin granules are gently crushed, without being powdered, so their natural aromas and properties are optimally preserved. Combined with extra virgin olive oil, these ingredients create an exceptional flavor trio: spicy, slightly tangy, and perfectly balanced.
The flour is traditionally stone-ground. This results in a more nutritious and aromatic result than industrially milled flour. The dough is then rested for 12 hours and slowly baked to preserve nutrients and create an extra fine, crispy texture.
Serving suggestion:
Enjoy it pure or in combination with refined cheeses, cold cuts or sausages, just as Lady Joseph preferred to serve it.
