Writers Tears Single Pot Still was initially matured in bourbon barrels. It was then further matured in Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks from Spain and Florio Marsala Hogsheads from Sicily. The triple distillation process ensures extra purity and the different maturation techniques contribute to the complex flavor profiles of this whisky.
