The Blandy's are unique in that they are the only family of all the original founders of the Madeira wine trade who still family own and run their wine business, maintaining a tradition dating back to 1811.

This Madeira wine comes from the volcanic, subtropical Portuguese island of Madeira. It has matured for 13 years in American oak barrels according to the traditional "Canteiro" system.
