This rum was first matured for many years in bourbon barrels in Barbados and then sailed in barrels to the south-west of France across the ocean to mature further in small Ferrand French oak barrels.

This centuries-old 'double aging' process creates incredible smoothness and complexity. It reveals a refined palate of chocolate, vanilla, ripe banana, roasted coconut and a hint of fresh mango notes. With a remarkably long finish, Plantation additional scent of vanilla, cocoa and milk chocolate.

Mouth

Cinnamon-like and softly sweet, as the sugary molasses flavor becomes very soft and chewy... Christmas spice cake, rum-flavored chocolate and sugar cookies.
