Crema di Limoni di Sicilia 50 cl
Everyone knows limoncello. This is its creamy cousin: Bottega makes a liqueur from the peel of Sicilian lemons, softened with cream and milk. It sits alongside the other Bottega creams in our range, such as pistachio and tiramisù.
Taste
Fresh and smooth at once: the zingy, fragrant side of lemon peel, rounded off by cream. At 15% it's lighter than a classic limoncello. Bottega recommends serving it ice-cold, at 3 °C.
How I serve it
- Neat: ice-cold in a small glass after dinner.
- On the rocks: over a few ice cubes, as a creamy digestif.
- On ice cream: poured over vanilla ice cream or lemon sorbet.
- In a cocktail: with a shot of espresso, or in a creamy summer cocktail.
Once opened, keep it in the fridge and finish within 60 days, as the bottle says. That shouldn't be hard.
