Start your day with a tasty oatmeal! Add some figs, almonds and honey and you have the perfect breakfast.

Oatmeal with roasted figs, almonds and honey
A delicious autumn breakfast! The tasty, sweet figs go well with oatmeal that has been flavored with some coconut milk and honey. The roasted almonds provide a nice crunch!

What do you need (for 1 person)?

• 50 g oatmeal flakes
• 4 tablespoons coconut milk/cream
• 220 ml milk (you can also replace this with almond milk, soy milk or simply water)
• unpeeled almonds
• 2 figs (cut into quarters)

What do you need from our store?

• 3 tablespoons of acacia honey (You can also take orange blossom honey)

How do you make this delicious oatmeal?

1. Take a sheet of baking paper and place the figs and almonds on it. Drizzle one tablespoon of honey over it. Place them under the grill for 5 to 7 minutes. Be careful not to burn the almonds!

2. Place a saucepan on the stove and heat the milk. As soon as the milk reaches boiling point, add the oatmeal. Let it heat through and let the oatmeal rise.

3. When the oatmeal is almost ready, add the coconut cream and honey. Don't let it boil anymore.

4. Place the oatmeal in a bowl and add the figs and almonds.
