Juveniles is a blended malt that Compass Box put together for the Paris wine bar of the same name. The bar's request: something bright, smooth and not smoky. The result is an assemblage of four single malts.

Taste

Notes of barley sugar, pear drop and vanilla, with a light herbal touch underneath. Bright and smooth, without smoke.

How I serve it

• As an aperitif: on ice or slightly chilled, before dinner.
• With cheese: alongside the cheese board.
• After dinner: neat, in a tulip glass.
