This exceptional whisky from the Spirit of Scotland series was distilled in 2010 at the Caol Ila Distillery on the island of Islay. After 15 years of maturation, the whisky developed a deep balance between peat smoke, fruity notes, and spicy warmth.

The whisky matured in a First Fill Sherry Butt, which provides extra depth and rich aromas. Bottled at 57.0% alcohol (cask strength) and non-chill filtered, the full character of the cask is preserved.

On the nose, aromas of sultana raisins and blackcurrants appear, combined with subtle smoke and roasted meat. On the palate, red fruits and warm spices follow, complemented by a fresh touch of blood orange. The finish is long and powerful with soft peat smoke and glowing charcoal notes.

As a single cask bottling, this whisky is only available in limited quantities, which makes it particularly interesting for collectors and enthusiasts of powerful Islay whiskies.
