This unique Belgian blend of 75% Gamay and 25% Pinot Noir is a beautiful example of craftsmanship from the Pajottenland. Sourced from Bruut Winery, this wine reflects a strong focus on terroir and natural vinification.
The grapes were harvested manually and fermented spontaneously, entirely according to the principle of 'lutte raisonnée', where nature does its work to the fullest extent. Fermentation took place in a wooden vat, followed by aging for one year in French oak barriques. After bottling, the wine underwent additional bottle aging, which provides extra complexity and balance.
In the glass, you discover a lively palate of red berries and raspberries, complemented by subtle evolving notes such as light tobacco and a refined toast from the wood. The wine has a fresh structure, soft tannins, and an elegant finish.
Perfect to enjoy now, but with enough potential to mature for another 5 years.
