The Fazenda Freitas espresso is a rich and silky coffee with notes of dark chocolate, dried fruit, and vanilla. The flavor is reminiscent of oranges and is rounded out with a nutty note and a praline-like body. Its creamy texture and juicy character make this coffee a perfect everyday espresso for those who enjoy a balance between sweetness, smoothness, and complexity.
This coffee comes from Fazenda Freitas, a family farm in the Patrocínio region, Cerrado Mineiro (900–1000 m elevation). What once began as a cattle ranch was transformed by the vision of Osmar Jr. and later his grandson Gabriel into a model of sustainable and quality-driven coffee production. The Nunes family plants 10–15% new coffee trees annually to ensure vitality and yield.
The beans are of the Bourbon, Catuai, and Topazio varieties and are processed naturally: the ripe coffee cherries are dried in thin layers in the sun for about 20 days. This method produces a coffee with a rich sweetness and refined fruity undertones, perfect for espresso.
