This single-origin espresso comes from Yolanda Cabrera Alvarez, a dedicated coffee farmer from Cusco, Peru. On her family farm, located at an altitude of 2,150 meters, Yolanda and her children cultivate the Typica variety with passion and precision. Thanks to the cool mountain climate and careful, fully washed processing, an espresso with a rich complexity is created.
Expect an intense sweetness in a playful and layered cup. You will taste notes of almond, toffee and stewed raisins, with a lively finish of green apple and lime zest. The medium roast (espresso roast) brings out the best in these beans: full of flavor, silky smooth, and with an elegant freshness.
Yolanda works with the Valle Inca cooperative to produce sustainably and with respect for nature. The ripe berries are harvested by hand and fermented in sealed GrainPro bags, which contributes to the depth of the flavor. After fermentation, the coffee is washed and slowly dried on raised beds – a process that takes no less than 15 days.
