Since 1994, Murray McDavid has been leading the art of whiskey maturation. They make exciting Scotch whiskeys by maturing fine whiskeys in large oak barrels. This often results in a surprising combination.

The classic style of whiskey maturation in Spanish Oloroso Sherry barrels has yielded a symphony of lush, rich and fruity flavors with a long aftertaste of praline and soft sweet spices in this Strathdearn spirit.< /p>

Characteristics:
- Nose: fruity aroma of strawberries, lychee and dried fruit. Hints of rhubarb and banana foam sweets.
- Mouth: fruity taste of red fruits and orange. This is followed by a somewhat nutty taste, student oats.
- Aftertaste: soft sweet herbs.
