Near Epernay, located on the slopes of the Montagne de Reims and very close to the Marne Valley, in Avenay-Val-d'Or is the Crucifix Père et Fils champagne house, part of a traditional wine-growing family for more than 5 generations .

The vineyard is located on the terroir of Avenay-Val-d'Or, classified as Premier Cru of the Champagne region. The plots consist of the two noble grape varieties of Champagne, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

This cuvée Epitre is the reflection of a great champagne year. Every “Act.” is the unique representation of one harvest, one terroir: Avenay Val d'Or and a grape variety "le Pinot Noir".

The Crucifix Epitre Extra Brut 2016 - Blanc de Noirs is made from the juice of the first pressings. The champagne is vinified and aged in barrels of different volumes on fine binders before being bottled. For this cuvée, all technological tools have been left behind in order to move away from the movement of standardization of wines.
All the bottles are hand-tied with a hemp cord and sealed with a wax seal.
