GlenAllaChie
GlenAllachie – Speyside single malt whiskey with character
GlenAllachie is a rapidly emerging whisky icon from the Speyside region of Scotland, specializing in premium single malt Scotch whisky with rich, fruity aromas and refined woody notes.
The story behind GlenAllachie
GlenAllachie Distillery was established in 1967 in Aberlour (Speyside) as part of Mackinlay McPherson, initially primarily for use in blends.
In 2017, the distillery was taken over by a team led by Master Distiller Billy Walker — a whisky veteran with years of experience at brands such as BenRiach, GlenDronach and Glenglassaugh — along with Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson.
Since then, the full focus has been on creating premium single malt whiskies, with attention to wood selection and maturation as distinguishing factors.
Today, GlenAllachie is independently owned and operated—one of the few distilleries in Scotland with this status—and enjoys recognition as a top whisky house, including being listed among the Top 50 Spirits Producers by the IWSC.
