Betis Extra Virgin Olive Oil 177 ml
Not every olive oil needs tasting notes. Betis is a Spanish brand from Dos Hermanas, near Seville, and this is their extra virgin: an honest everyday base oil for the kitchen.
What it's for
This is the oil for the pan. Use it to soften vegetables, sear meat, roast potatoes or start a sauce. For drizzling, over a salad or a burrata, we have more flavourful oils, such as Neolea For The Plate.
How I use it
- For frying: a splash in the pan for an omelette or fried eggs.
- For roasting: tossed through potato wedges or vegetables for the oven.
- For simmering: as the base for a tomato sauce or ratatouille.
- For marinating: with garlic, lemon and herbs over chicken or fish.
