Would you like to order a larger quantity?
Same logic as the white: Uno di Uno, one grape. Here it is Primitivo — the variety that usually makes Puglia's heavy reds, but which stays on the skins for just twelve hours. Long enough for colour and scent, too short for weight. What you get is a rosé with the fruit of a red and the ease of a white.
Character
Coral pink in the glass, and that matters: this is not a pale, see-through rosé but one with colour and something to say. The Primitivo brings red fruit you won't find in many rosés, while the short maceration keeps the wine light.
Tasting notes
- Nose — roses and violets, with blackberry and blueberry underneath.
- Palate — soft and velvety, no sharp edges.
- Finish — fresh and dry, the red fruit lingering a moment longer.
How I pour it
At 10 to 12 °C. A rosé served too cold gives away none of its floral side.
- As an aperitif, with nothing else needed.
- With a charcuterie board or smoked fish.
- With light pasta — tomato, basil, a drizzle of olive oil.
- With grilled chicken or a peach and burrata salad.
What to do with it
This is the bottle you chill without a plan. Did it arrive as a gift? Keep it for the first sunny Saturday — rosé gains nothing from waiting. It also works when tastes around the table differ: nearly everyone drinks this happily, and it holds up just as well with the snacks as with what comes after.
