The Gauldrons Eclipse is a bold, limited edition within Douglas Laing's award-winning Remarkable Regional Malts series. This edition features a marriage of single-cask Campbeltown malts, finished in orange wine casks from the historic cellars of Jerez de la Frontera, southern Spain. This is the first time this type of cask has been used for The Gauldrons—an innovative step that unites tradition and experimentation.

The name "Gauldrons" refers to the dark, stormy bays along Campbeltown's west coast. "Eclipse" emphasizes the mystical and profound character of this bottling. Maturation in orange wine casks creates a layered flavor experience and a seductive blend of fruit, spice, and depth.

Tasting notes:
- On the nose: Aromas of malt, dried apricots, orange peel and roasted almonds.
- On the palate: Rich and complex with notes of walnuts, spices and stone fruit.
- Finish: Long and spicy, with a surprising hint of fresh, sour orange that gives it an almost otherworldly elegance.
