This special edition of the classic Arran 10-Year Old is distilled with malt from locally grown Optic barley, grown by the Currie family at Bellevue Farm on the south coast of the Isle of Arran. This brings Arran closer to the origins of its ingredients than ever before.

The whisky is matured in a carefully balanced combination of First Fill Bourbon Barrels and Second Fill Sherry Hogsheads, resulting in a rich, layered single malt with depth and freshness. The Arran Barley Edition is released annually in small batches, with each batch varying depending on the barley variety used, cask combinations, and availability.

Tasting notes:
- On the nose: Fresh herbs and light citrus notes. Subtle sweetness with hints of vanilla and anise.
- On the palate: Spicy opening with ginger and biscuity notes. Woody influences and vanilla balance with citrus and an oily complexity that enhances the fruit.
- Finish: Medium long, dry with lingering notes of citrus, ginger and anise.
