De Koningshoeven brewery celebrated its beloved La Trappe Quadrupel in 1991, under the approving gaze of the monks. A well-kept recipe became reality and the very first Quadrupel beer in the world was born. La Trappe Quadrupel is the strongest beer of La Trappe Trappist and also the namesake of this beer style.

Characteristics:

Taste: full, warming and intense. Malty with sweet notes of date and caramel.

Color: a beautiful amber color with reddish glow.

Nose: scents of various fruits (fig, plum and banana), caramelized and spicy flavors and a hint of vanilla.
