This wine is a declaration of love to Joel Duffau's wife. Sandrine likes "vins naturels", wines made without sulfur. So Joel decided to make her some wine, and that wasn't exactly easy for the first few years. Producing sulphur-free wines requires a lot of experience and only the healthiest and best grapes should be used.
Nose: intense, deep berry aromas
Mouth: expansive, compact, supported by fine tannins. A powerful, opulent wine full of sensuality.
Food pairing: Ossobuco alla Milanese, stewed beef.
