BenRiach
BenRiach – Speyside single malt whisky with character and creativity
BenRiach is a unique single malt Scotch whisky from the Speyside region of Scotland. What sets this brand apart is its wide variety of whisky styles—from classic fruity Speyside to smoky and even triple-distilled expressions—combined with an eclectic selection of maturing casks from around the world.
The story behind BenRiach
BenRiach Distillery was founded in 1898 by John Duff in North Speyside, near Elgin—a region with a rich whisky tradition. Like many others of its time, the distillery had a difficult start due to the Pattison Crash around 1900, forcing it to close shortly after opening.
After several periods of inactivity and changes in ownership, BenRiach reopened in 2004 as a single malt specialist, focusing on creative cask maturation and diverse whisky profiles. This revival made BenRiach one of the most innovative players in Speyside.
Today, BenRiach is part of Brown-Forman, an international beverage company with a long tradition of quality brands, further strengthening the brand's growth and distribution.
