The Maison Pérard Soupe de Poissons is an iconic French fish soup, prepared according to Serge Pérard's historic recipe. This artisanal soup contains no less than 40% carefully selected fish (coalfish, gurnard, rockfish, whiting, and rosefish) caught in the northeastern Atlantic Ocean.

The addition of 0.02% pure saffron gives the soup its characteristic warm color and refined, aromatic depth. The result is a full-bodied, balanced, and intensely flavorful fish soup with a silky texture.

The Story of Maison Pérard:

The story of Maison Pérard begins during the Second World War, when Serge Pérard rescued some fish from the port of Boulogne-sur-Mer and, as a talented chef, prepared a nutritious fish soup from them.

In 1964, he opened the first 100% fish restaurant in Le Touquet. After refining his recipe—with the addition of pure saffron—his fish soup became an instant success.

Due to growing customer demand for soup to take home, he established his own workshop and canning facility. This began a family story that is passionately carried on today by Anne-Sophie and her team. With respect for tradition, craftsmanship, and family values, Maison Pérard continues to guarantee authentic quality and flavor.
