The story behind Springbank
Springbank Distillery was licensed in 1828 and has remained largely family-owned ever since. It is one of the few distilleries that handles all steps of whisky production in-house: malting, fermentation, distillation, maturation, and bottling—without chill-filtration or added colorants.
The distillery is located on the Kintyre Peninsula and is one of the last remaining distilleries in Campbeltown, a region that once boasted over thirty distilleries but now produces only a few.
