Puerto de Indias
Puerto de Indias: Spanish gin from Seville with a fruity flair
Puerto de Indias is a Spanish gin from Carmona, in the province of Seville. The brand is known for its fruity, accessible style and became famous worldwide with Puerto de Indias Strawberry: a gin with natural strawberries that helped popularize the category of rosé and fruity gins.
At Flavor Shop, you will find Puerto de Indias for those who love refreshing gin and tonics, summery cocktails, and a smooth, fruity gin experience with a Southern flair.
The story behind Puerto de Indias
Puerto de Indias is produced in one of the oldest distilleries in Andalusia, in Carmona near Seville. The distillery was founded in 1880 and built over Roman baths from the 1st century. Later, the site was transformed into a hydraulic grain mill by the Arabs.
Today, Puerto de Indias combines that long distilling tradition with a modern, innovative take on gin. The brand tells the story of two Sevillian brothers who took over a nearly closed distillery and launched a new, fruity gin movement from there.
