Louis Jadot

Louis Jadot – Classic Burgundian wines with elegance

Louis Jadot (Maison Louis Jadot) is one of the most respected and oldest wineries in Burgundy, France. It produces a wide range of wines of controlled origin (AOC) that reflect the essence of Burgundy's diverse terroirs—from Chablis and Côte d'Or to Mâconnais and Beaujolais.

The story behind Louis Jadot

Louis Jadot was founded in 1859 by Louis Henry Denis Jadot in Beaune, the capital of the Burgundy wine region.
The Jadot family had been involved in winemaking for generations before the official winery was established, and acquired famous vineyards early on, such as Clos des Ursules, which belong to the Premier Cru class.

Over time, Maison Louis Jadot has become one of the most important names in Burgundian wine, thanks in part to the blending of its own vineyards with grapes from carefully selected growers across the region.
Today, Louis Jadot spans hundreds of hectares of vineyards in the Côte d'Or, Mâconnais, Côte Chalonnaise, Beaujolais and Chablis, remaining true to its philosophy of placing terroir expression at the heart of every bottle.

The characteristic yellow labels with the head of Bacchus are recognizable worldwide and stand for quality and Burgundian wine tradition.
