The story behind Leonardi
Leonardi's origins date back to 1871, when the family began producing balsamic vinegar in the Modena region. To this day, everything remains based on the same philosophy: passion and time are the most important ingredients.
Leonardi works with local grapes like Trebbiano and Lambrusco, which are carefully harvested and processed into cooked grape must. This is followed by a lengthy aging process in wooden barrels, where flavor, complexity, and texture slowly develop.
The Leonardi family has been active in this craft for four generations now and is one of the most respected producers of high-quality balsamic vinegar in Italy.
