The Botran Roajú aged rum celebrates the exceptional heritage of the Botran Merino brothers, visionary pioneers who left their Spanish homeland to settle in the fertile heart of Guatemala, where they forged a tradition of excellence that culminates in this remarkable cuvée.

Botran Roajú is the enchanting first expression of the Roajú cuvée – a carefully crafted blend of rums aged between 8 and 20 years. Thanks to the dynamic Solera maturation process, these rums are matured in a series of carefully selected casks: ex-Bourbon casks, medium-toasted American whiskey casks, ex-Oloroso sherry casks, Tawny Port casks, and wine casks from the Ribera del Duero region (Burgos). Each cask contributes its own story and layers of flavour to this complex and multi-layered rum.

The colour is deep copper – visually warm and inviting. On the nose you experience notes of toasted wood, caramelised sugars, black fruits such as plums, with a spicy hint of cinnamon and pepper. On the palate you taste rich toffee, black cherries, toasted notes and a hint of roasted coffee. The finish is long and silky, with a lingering impression of toffee and oak.

- On the palate: Soft toffee, black cherry and plum, toasted wood and subtle notes of roasted coffee.
