The Teeling Blackpitts Peated is an Irish whiskey, it owes its name to an old area of the same name in Dublin. Here the malt was dried over peat-fired fires to ultimately make whiskey that had a smoky character, just as they have now done with these Blackpitts.

The smoky character is enriched by the maturation on a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sauternes barrels. The bourbon barrels soften the smoky influences and at the same time add spicy hints, the sauternes barrels add rich fruit notes.

Characteristics
- Aroma: hints of barbecue smoke , cloves, butterscotch and orange zest
- Taste: notes of pear and grilled pineapple
- Aftertaste: combination of smoke with salted caramel
