Merima is the light sibling of our cast iron teapots. Porcelain instead of iron, matte finish, with a tropical leaf worked into the wall as a relief — you feel the leaf before you have properly seen it.

The pot has a belly, and so it holds more than you would guess at first glance: 0.7 litre, good for two to three cups. It looks smaller than it is.

Note: no strainer is included. That is a deliberate choice by the maker, not an oversight. For loose leaf you will need a filter. Our Small paper tea filters go up to 0.8 litre and fit this pot. They are made of chlorine-free paper and compost after use.
