The difference from the other two is the finish: the Luise is matt. You feel it before you see it — not smooth, cool porcelain but something with a bit of grip, which doesn't slide out of hands still wet from the washing-up.

That's why this one lives on my desk. Four hundred millilitres is enough for a long afternoon of work without getting up, and with the stainless steel filter included you simply use loose leaf. It's finely lasered, so the water gets all the way around the leaf.

Put something in it that takes a second infusion — a rooibos, a herbal blend — and you get two mugs out of one measure. Dishwasher and microwave safe, so there's no need to be careful with it.
