This Scotch whiskey has been allowed to mature in American oak barrels and then finished in rum barrels.

Characteristics:

Aroma: The scent of the Smokehead Rum Rebel opens with clear peat influences, followed by sweet hints of roasted marshmallows, caramelized pineapple, fried bacon and banana.

Taste: Salty, oily influences come together in the mouth with hints of smoke. Honey and lemon give this more body. The aftertaste is medium long, smoky and combines oak with fruit.
