Tenuta Margherita’s pepper and sausage risotto is a carefully composed meal based on the best Carnaroli rice, straight from the fields of Piedmont. The rice is matured for 60 days after harvesting, and then polished in the traditional way with the historic Minghetti “Hamburg” machines. This way, the taste, texture and nutritional value are optimally preserved.
The addition of tender sausage and sweet pepper makes this dish full, hearty and perfectly balanced – ideal for a quick, home-cooked meal without compromising on quality.
Preparation tip:

Heat a dash of olive oil in a heavy-bottomed pan.

Add the risotto mix and stir for about 1 minute over medium heat.

Deglaze with white wine and let it evaporate.

Gradually add 650 ml of hot water and allow to absorb while stirring (approx. 17 minutes).

Finish with a knob of butter and some Parmesan cheese to taste.
