Since 2013, Sögne has been making thin porcelain mugs with a short message in a simple typewriter font. This one reads: life happens coffee helps.

The print

Life doesn't always go to plan, but a strong espresso helps. The same print also comes as a 30 cl mug.

How I use it

• Espresso: just the right size for an espresso or ristretto.
• Small dessert: also lovely for a matcha shot, a mousse or a scoop of ice cream.
• As a gift: for someone who's had a hectic week.
