Since 2013, Sögne has been making thin porcelain mugs with a short message in a simple typewriter font. This one reads: ...but first, coffee.

The print

Coffee first, everything else later. The three dots at the start say it all: whatever it is, it can wait.

How I use it

• Every day: the standard size for coffee, tea or a cappuccino.
• In the oven: ovenproof, so also good for a mug cake or a small crumble.
• As a gift: for anyone who starts every morning with coffee.

Good to know
