This luxurious rum is distilled at Stade's West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados, using both twin column stills and the signature Old Gregg's pot still – a combination that creates a rich, complex profile. The base is molasses, which undergoes a 3-5 day fermentation.
The rum is then matured in a carefully selected mix of casks, including new white oak, bourbon casks, Ferrand cognac casks and, to top it all off, Pedro Ximénez sherry casks from Andalusia. This extra maturation brings out deep, elegant notes of nuts, dried figs and raisins, and creates an exceptionally smooth and rounded finish.
Planteray PXXO is a true discovery for the senses: creamy, soft, complex and with a refined sweetness that is not overpowering but harmoniously interwoven with the wood influences. Alexandre Gabriel, founder and master blender, describes it as an ode to tradition and to daring to innovate.

25 ml sweet Italian vermouth

2 dashes orange bitters

2 dashes Angostura bitters
Stir all ingredients with ice in a mixing glass, strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with an Amarena cherry.
