A tile lying flat goes unnoticed. On this gold stand it stands up straight, and the little flower at the foot finishes it off. It's my pick for a tile that's going out as a gift.

What it looks like

A slim stand made of gold-coloured metal wire, shaped like a small easel, with a flower on one corner of the base.

What it's for

• a tile you're giving as a present, ready to display
• the windowsill, bedside table or a living-room shelf
• a light or pastel tile, where the gold really stands out

Good to know

• Made for Yett's ceramic quote tiles (about 10 x 10 cm)
