Since 2013, Sögne has been making thin porcelain mugs with a short message in a simple typewriter font. This one reads: daddy cool.

The print

For the dad who likes to think he's cool, and the kids who sort of agree.

How I use it

• Every day: the standard size for coffee, tea or a cappuccino.
• In the oven: ovenproof, so also good for a mug cake or a small crumble.
• As a gift: for Father's Day or a birthday.
