Since 2013, Sögne has been making thin porcelain mugs with a short message in a simple typewriter font. This one reads: today is a hot chocolate kind of day.

The print

Some days call for hot chocolate, with whipped cream on top. This big mug has room for it.

How I use it

• Big size: for a generous latte, chai or hot chocolate.
• Not just for drinks: also handy for soup, or yoghurt with granola.
• As a gift: for a chocolate lover, with a packet of hot chocolate.
