Fromagerie is the cheese range from Tempa, Ladelle's sister brand, and that's the name you'll see on the box. The clever bit is underneath: a pull-out drawer with the cheese knives neatly tucked away.

This round version has a slate panel in the middle. The cheese goes on the slate, with grapes, nuts and crackers around it on the bamboo.

What it looks like

A round bamboo board with a round slate panel in the centre, a rim for garnishes and a pull-out drawer holding the cheese knives.

How I use it

• a board with three or four cheeses: a hard one, a soft one, a blue
• to round off a dinner party, with a glass of port
• as a wedding or housewarming gift
