Nougat Slice Cranberry 100 g
Vital's Nougat Slices, made in Deinze since 1926, already come in plenty of flavours. This one gets red speckles: almost a fifth dried cranberries, with almonds and pistachios in soft white nougat with honey and vanilla.
Taste
Soft and sweet, with the tart bite of cranberry nicely cutting through the sweetness. The almonds and pistachios add crunch. And with those red and green pieces, it looks festive straight away.
How I enjoy it
- With coffee: cut into thin strips on a saucer.
- On a dessert plate: next to a square of chocolate and some fresh fruit.
- Over the holidays: on the table with coffee after Christmas dinner.
- As a small gift: together with a few other Nougat Slice flavours.
