The Bowmore Sherry Oak 18 Years is an exceptional single malt whisky that brings together craftsmanship, time, and perfectly balanced maturation. This expression matures in hand-selected ex-bourbon casks and Oloroso sherry casks, and acquires its refined character through a luxurious finish in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.

This combination of casks creates a whisky with impressive complexity and elegance. The influence of the PX sherry casks adds an extra dimension of rich, sweet depth, while the classic Bowmore signature of soft peat smoke remains subtly present.

In the glass, a refined and layered flavour profile unfolds in which fruit and smoke come together harmoniously. The nose opens with fresh pineapple, vibrant citrus zest, and rich notes of dark chocolate and cocoa beans. On the palate, a lush and perfectly balanced taste experience follows with orange peel, juicy sultana raisins, anise, and cocoa, while a soft, rising smoke elegantly carries the whole. The finish is powerfully fruity and expressive, with exceptional depth and complexity that lingers for a long time.
