The scent of smoldering peat, the crackling of a fire, and the atmosphere of the Scottish Highlands evoke memories of the past. Ode to the Embers is a tribute to this era. A time when malt was dried over warm smoke.

This aromatic single malt is infused with interwoven notes of peat smoke, spicy depth from Oloroso sherry casks, and a rich finish featuring GlenDronach’s signature Pedro Ximénez casks.

The result is an expression full of character, complexity, and warmth. Ideal for lovers of smoky whisky with depth.

Tasting notes:
- On the nose: Toffee with cinnamon spice, apple and caramelised walnut brittle, interwoven with charred orange over a smouldering fire.
- On the palate: Raisin and walnut in honey mingle with blackberry ganache and smoked chocolate fudge.
- Finish: Long-lasting notes of sultanas, nutmeg and treacle, rounded off with a hint of smoked cloves.
